Welcome to Ballet Nacional!

Ballet Nacional consists of a senior member performing group and a junior division serving as training ground for young dancers. Since its inception, Ballet Nacional realized the importance of a varied repertoire, thus it includes in its training various forms of music, art and dance: Classic Ballet, Latin Jazz, Classical Spanish, Flamenco, and Mexican Folk Dance.

Mission Statement

BALLET NACIONAL has as its primary goal to promote and preserve the cultural heritage of its Latin ancestry through the Art of Music and Dance. Folklore dance is the most attractive and expressive aspect of the living testimonial of its people. However, BALLET NACIONAL takes a step further in creating a setting so as to make its concerts a unique experience of enjoyment as well as educational and cultural in nature. BALLET NACIONAL does not limit itself to one form of dance, it has evolved into a contemporary style company, which provides training and performing experiences for aspiring artists in all aspects of music and dance. All of our performances exemplify this diversification. Since its inception, BALLET NACIONAL prides itself in being a progressive Art organization by honoring all artists who pay tribute to Hispanic Art. Thus in the BALLET NACIONAL's permanent repertoire one can find a mixture of Folk Music and Dance as well as Classical and Contemporary Styles that unite and blend together and create a true representation of what Hispanic Art should be: Traditional Folk dances can be seen sharing the stage with a Ravel's Bolero in classical Spanish style Choreography and Frida Kahlo in Contemporary Modern Dance Style. That's what makes BALLET NACIONAL unique and innovative.
